Daniel Wealcatch
Baltimore, MD
Daniel Wealcatch said that he was attracted to LCM because of the balance. “I liked how the school offers us both secular courses and Hebrew studies and the faculty supports us through both,” he said.
Wealcatch, who graduated from TA and spent a year-and-a-half at Yishrei Lev, said he’s contemplating a career in physical therapy, though he said he was keeping his options open. Other professions that interest him? Becoming a physician assistant or a nurse anesthetist. “I’ve always been interested in fitness,” he said. “I try to work out every day since it helps me keep up my physical and mental well-being.”
Last summer, Wealcatch did Bike 4 Chai, a bike ride that raises money for Chai LIfeline. Together with his father and two of his brothers, Wealcatch biked 185 miles in two days. He admits it was exhausting, but added: “The fact that we were doing it for a good cause motivated us.”
