Oleg Friedman, M.S.
Lander College for Men
Oleg Friedman received his MS in mathematics at Samarkand State University. As a researcher at the Russian Academy of Sciences he developed stochastic mathematical models of glass-like dynamic transitions and pattern recognition of neural networks.
Professor Friedman has taught mathematics at Polytechnic University and St. John’s University. His main research interests are in the field of topological algebras and representation theory of unbounded operator algebras used for axiomatization of quantum mechanics. Professor Friedman is about to defend his doctoral dissertation in mathematics at the University of South Africa.
