Coordinated through Achiezer, and in collaboration with Nivneh, LCM students went to Far Rockaway this past Sunday and Belle Harbor today, to help in Hurricane Sandy recovery. The group in Far Rockaway went to two homes and spent many hours dismantling cabinets so they could get to the drywall and then breaking up and schlepping the dry wall out.
