Musical Vs Hit High Notes for the Holidays

What’s the best way to spread cheer? Singing loud for all to hear!

December 14, 2012

The Music Vs. hit the high notes at the Margeret Teitz Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jamaica, Queens, to bring the holiday spirit to its young-at-heart residents. We sang our favorite Chanukah and holiday songs for Jewish and non-Jewish patients putting smiles on the faces of all around. Singin’ and schmoozin’, the eight of us, Lander College and  Yeshivas Ohr HaChaim men, had a fantastic time at our first ever event.

A non-profit organization, the Music Vs/ (the Musical Undergraduates’ Support Initiative for Children, Veterans, and Seniors) began at Yeshiva University before spreading to Lander. The Lander branch was founded by Presidents Gavriel Apfel and Avraham Young, and is now 12-members strong. But we’re always looking to add new voices, so come join us!
