Alumni in Israel meet for a Siyum on Shas

Over 5,600 miles from Queens, from the halls of LCM to the streets of Jerusalem, Dr. Sokol and Rabbi Shmulewitz hosted LCM alumni now living in Israel.

Close to 40 alumni attended the dinner at the Entrecote Restaurant in Jerusalem on November 7. Among them was, John Zahtz, who enrolled in LCM’s very first class, and who was introduced to his wife by Rabbi Shmulewitz. John just made aliyah a few months ago with his wife and three kids and he made a siyum on all of shas at the Entrecote dinner. It’s always heartening/gratifying to catch up with LCM graduates and, see how they’re doing and what they’re up to. Come visit!
