Application Deadlines, Start Dates & Schedules
We have rolling admissions. Submit your application at any time. You’ll be able to start with the fall, winter, or summer term (see our academic calendar for when each term begins). We also have a Post-Pesach Program available, for students who return from Israel after the winter zman and want to get started on college classes.
There are two available course schedules at Lander. Day students are full time at Lander and attend the Beis Medrash L’Talmud in the morning and night and complete college courses in the afternoon. The evening division allows you to work or attend the yeshiva of your choice during the day and complete your courses at night.
Transfer Credits
You can earn college credit for your yeshiva studies. We accept up to 48 college credits from your post-high school yeshiva studies.
You can earn up to 36 credits for one year of study through Touro’s Israel Option program. A full second year of study in Israel is worth up to 12 credits; a semester is worth up to 6.
To receive transfer credits, submit your official yeshiva transcript with grades to the College for evaluation. We do not give credit for any courses completed with a grade below C, and we limit transfer credits to 18 per semester. Credits for yeshiva studies are determined by the College, based on our academic policies. Credit values may be different than what’s listed on your yeshiva transcript.
View our undergraduate transfer credit policy which includes information on CLEP, AP, and NYU Foreign Language Equivalencies.
International Students
Our International Student Services office can help any international student applicant navigate the admissions process.
