Rabbi Shmuel Marcus
Rabbi Shmuel Marcus studied at Yeshiva University where he had the privilege of assisting his grandfather, the late Rabbi Ahron Soloveichik. He earned his undergraduate degree in History and a Master's degree in Jewish education from Azrieli Graduate School. He received his Semicha from RIETS and learned for four years in the prestigious Wexner Kollel Elyon at RIETS.
Before joining the faculty at Beis Medrash L'Talmud, he taught for ten years as a Rebbe in Yeshiva University's Stone Beit Midrash Program while also serving in the Rabbinate - first as the Rav of the Young Israel of Fair Lawn, NJ and then as the Rav of Kehilas Ishei Yisrael in Kew Gardens Hills, NY.
He currently serves as the Rav of the Young Israel of Queens Valley in Kew Gardens Hills and is the president of the Vaad HaRabonim of Queens.
