Rabbi Tanenbaum received his simicha from Yeshiva Shaar HaTorah. He was a member of the Great Neck Community Kollel and he has taught at yeshiva Madreigas Ha Adam, Shaar HaTorah. Along with Rabbi Peasch Krohn he was a lecturer on history and Halacha on European tours of Jewish history.
