Housing

We have a vibrant student residence life at Lander. Our campus is not just a place of learning, but also a place of belonging and camaraderie, and our dorms are no different. Our dormitories are your perfect home away from home.

Living on Campus

Each of our 13 attached townhouses boasts three spacious garden apartments. With multiple bedrooms, fully functional kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, a balcony to overlook the quad, our dorms provide ample opportunities for students to cook, study, relax, and socialize with friends and roommates.

The main school building has a library and study spots, but there are also multiple study areas and desks available in each apartment if you want to study in the dorm. The plush couches in the living room areas are a great place to relax and socialize with friends. Bedrooms in the apartments are spacious with personal closets. Every apartment has Twin XL beds and multiple bathrooms and showers.

Each building has a Resident Advisor (RA) and RAs organize regular building get-togethers, including catered meals, creating a cohesive and welcoming environment for all students.

Shabbos On Campus

Some of our students from the New York metro area spend Shabbosim at home with their families, but many choose to stay. And of course there are plenty of students who come from farther away, so we bring the family to them.

We keep campus open almost every Shabbos during the academic year, hosting our own gatherings with a rebbe or kollel member always present. Once a month, all students stay on campus for an in-Shabbos. Together, we create our own strong Shabbos atmosphere complete with lively singing and shared meals. This coming together strengthens our community in a way that both represents and enhances the Lander experience.

Below are some of the amenities you can expect in each townhouse. Each apartment has a kitchen table and chairs, desks and chairs, beds, couch.
