Students enrolled in an online course are required to take their final exams online via ProctorU. By enrolling in this course you agree to pay the associated exam fee. Final exam fees will be included with registration fees for each online course. Please keep in mind that you will still be required to register online for your exams with ProctorU. Registration for exams will begin approximately three weeks before the exam. Please note that ProctorU will charge a late fee to students who do not register for the exam 3 days prior to the exam date. The late fee is paid directly to ProctorU when you register for the exam.
Any resulting consequence, up through and including failure of the course, is the sole responsibility of the student. Please contact info.onlineeducation@touro.edu with any questions.
* Specific courses in the Computer Department may have different exam dates. Please check the exact dates with your professor.
Online exams can now be taken from wherever you are using ProctorU, a safe, online proctoring service. To find out more about ProctorU and how it works, please visit www.proctoru.com/portal/touro/.
To register for your exam, create an account on www.proctoru.com (or by clicking here), and select the current term and your specific course.
Please be aware:
- Online exams must be taken using a desktop or a laptop- iPads and tablets are not compatible with ProctorU. Use the “Test-it-out” or checklist located at https://www.proctoru.com/portal/touro#technical to make sure your computer is compatible with ProctorU.
- Students will need a working webcam in order to take exams via ProctorU.
- There is an associated $25 fee for each exam you take via ProctorU. Final exam fees are paid directly to the bursar upon registration for the course. However, fees for Midterm exams administered online must be paid directly to ProctorU during exam registration.
- Failure to register for exams more than 72 hours prior to an exam’s start time may result in additional charges. These late fees must be paid by the student, directly to ProctorU.
- Final exams may not be taken on campus.
- All students are required to register for exams using their own ProctorU accounts.
Good luck with your online course, and we hope you enjoy your online learning experience.
If you have any questions, please contact info.onlineeducation@touro.edu or a member of our team.
