Joseph Gross holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from McGill University and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School. He is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (AAA) and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA). Joseph contributed to the Society Exam Committee, participating in the creation of exam questions and assessing essay responses.

In addition to his achievements as an actuary, Joseph has a background as an arbitrator and litigator. His dedication to education is evident through his roles as a math tutor at McGill, a math teacher at Telshe Yeshiva High School, and a Talmudic class (Daf Yomi) instructor. Joseph was also a member of the corporate chess team.

Outside the professional realm, Joseph placed second in the City of Montreal wrestling tournament and completed the New York Marathon.
