Zev Hirsch is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Lander College for Men. He has a PhD in Management with a concentration in Finance from Rutgers Business School, an MA in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from Hunter College, and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Queens College. His research focuses on applying novel statistical methods to empirical asset pricing and market microstructure. He has previously taught in the Department of Finance and Economics at Rutgers Business School and in the Department of Mathematics at Lander College for Men. 

He also holds a Master of Talmudic Studies degree from Beth Medrash Govoha, where he studied for six years, and he is an alumnus of Yeshivas Ohr Hachaim, where he studied for eight years prior to Beth Medrash Govoha.
