Dr. Richard Ninness holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and received his master’s degree from the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg.  His research and teaching focus on European history. In addition to numerous articles and reviews, Dr. Ninness is the author of Between Opposition and Collaboration:  Nobles, Bishops, and the German Reformations in the Prince-Bishopric of Bamberg (Brill, 2011).
