Joseph Perlman, MSc, MBA, FSA, FIA

Joseph Perlman is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries London and the Society of Actuaries USA. He earned a graduate degree in mathematical statistics and was awarded an MBA in finance from Columbia University. He has done research in the actuarial application of compound distributions to insurance claims.

He has previously taught at the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. He teaches and has taught courses in pure mathematics, statistics, econometrics, finance, options pricing, actuarial science and economics. When he is not working he can be found either learning or following British football.
